The Melt-and-Pour (M&P)
Soap Making Method

The Melt-and-Pour (M&P) method is the simplest and most accessible way to make customized soaps. It gets its name from the straightforward process of melting a pre-made base, adding essential & fragrant oil customizations, then pouring it into a mold.

Our bases include:

  • Glycerin (Clear): A transparent base that is high in glycerin, a natural humectant that draws moisture to the skin. This base is ideal for colors and embedding objects.

  • Goat Milk: Opaque white bases that contain added butter fats, proteins, or vitamins for extra moisturizing and creamy properties.

The primary materials a crafter adds to the base are:

  • Fragrance: Essential oils or cosmetic-grade fragrance oils.

  • Colorants: Mica powders, liquid soap dyes, or natural pigments.

  • Additives & Natural Exfoliants: Loofahs, raw honey, raw sugar, hemp oil, and/or coconut oil.
